In our cooking class, you will have the opportunity to learn how to prepare a variety of traditional Balinese dishes. Each participant will have the opportunity to choose one soup, one appetizer, one main course, one side dish, one sambal and one dessert to prepare during the class. Our experienced local chefs will guide you through the cooking process and provide you with all the necessary ingredients and equipment.
During the class, you will have the opportunity to observe and participate in the preparation of each dish, learning about the ingredients and techniques used in traditional Balinese cooking. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the chefs and other participants. At the end of the class, you will sit down and enjoy the delicious meals that you have prepared, along with your fellow classmates. This is a unique and hands-on way to learn about and experience the local culture and cuisine of Bali. Appetizers and Soups
TIMBUNGAN BE SIAP
A traditional Balinese soup from Munduk, with chicken, cassava leaves, nutmeg, galangal, onion, lemon grass, tamarind and palm sugar.
JUKUT NANGKA MISI KACANG
A delicious traditional soup made with young jackfruits and red nuts, balinese spices (galangal, onion, garlic, shrimp paste, ginger, candlenut, bay leaves, lemon grass, nutmeg, pepper, turmeric lemon grass).
JUKUT KENTANG MISI BE SIAP
Balinese potatoes soup with chicken, onion, pepper, garlic, galangal, ginger, shrimp paste, candlenut, turmeric, lemon grass and bay leaves.
JUKUT KACANG TANAH MISI GEDANG MUDA
Traditional soup with young peanuts and papaya, shrimp, coconut milk and spices.
BREGEDEL KENTANG
Fried potatoes mixed with long chili and celery rolled with egg, and fried.
BREGEDEL JAGUNG
Mixture of chopped corn with long chili, celery, egg, and fried lightly.
SATE LILIT
Mixed grated coconut with braised chicken and shrimp paste, chili, palm sugar and kefir lime, lemon grass for the stick, and fried.
Main courses
LAWAR BALI
Balinese food combination between chicken, fresh boiled vegetable and grilled grated coconut with Balinese sauce and kefir lime.
TUM BE SIAP
Mixture of chopped chicken meat with egg, spices, and steamed in banana leaves.
BE SIAP SERA BAWANG
Fried and make small slice of braised chicken mixed with slice onion, lemon grass, chili and shrimp paste, turmeric and sauté.
TUM KENTANG
Mixture of sliced potatoes, chopped chicken meat with egg, spices, and steamed in banana leave.
PLECING BE SIAP
Freshly braised chicken served with a delicious Balinese shrimp paste sauce.
PECAKAN BE SIAP
This traditional dish is a combination of fresh braised chicken, grated coconut, Balinese spices and fresh in a little water.
PEPES BE SIAP
A delicious Balinese dish with chicken meat and Balinese spices, lemon grass, ginger, onion, and grilled in banana leave.
Side dishes
URAB TIMUN
Fresh sliced cucumber with grilled grated coconut, shrimp paste, chili, fried garlic and fried shallot with kefir lime.
BASANG GULING
Boiled cassava leaves served with a mixture of shrimp paste sauce, lemon grass, onion, ginger, galangal, candlenut, turmeric and sauté.
JEJERUK KACANG PANJANG
Sliced long been mixed with grated coconut and spicy Balinese sauce and fried in water.
TOGE MUNCIS
Boiled green bean mixed with peanut sauce.
SAMBAL TOMAT
A hot spicy Balinese chili sambal mixed with long chili, sugar, onion, garlic and tomatoes.
SAMBAL MATAH
Slices of lemon grass and onion with grilled shrimp paste, chili, lime and vegetable oil.
SAMBAL TUUNG MATAH
Slice onion and egg plant served with grilled shrimp paste, chili, kafir lime and vegetable oil.

DADAR GULUNG
A rolled Balinese crepe with grated coconut and palm sugar.

A traditional dessert with fried banana served with liquid palm sugar.
